Those who know the AGRO.bio Hungary Kft know that the company’s main objective and mission are focussing at the live and healthy soil – as the basic element of the sustainable agriculture. The healthy and live soil is contributing to the plant’s excellent adaptability, tress bearing, strong and fast growing as well as the higher revenue deriving from the bigger crop and better quality primarily by assuring the proper root development. Due to the more favourable structure of the healthy and live soil can be cultivated with less fuel and the amount that can be saved though the smaller quantity of fertiliser is significant. Occasionally the plant-protection expenses can also be decreased and with an identical plant-protection technology due to the lower contamination pressure the plants are healthier and the risk of fungus-based damaging is smaller.

The root system is not visible, thus we are prone to forget the importance of the proper root growing. When we plant a seed, then in the first days it is affected by the soil’s physical features, such as water content and the temperature. If these are corresponding then the little root gets out from the swollen seed and in whatever way the seed is in the soil, the little root is always going downward, toward the core of the Earth. This apparently simple process is actually a complex plant-physiological phenomenon that I am not going to detail it here, but we have to mention that the germination of the seeds starts earlier even with physical soil-characteristics identical with those of the living soil. There are differences between the various species, according to the observations the soil treated with BactoFil is accelerating the germination of mostly the minor dicotyledonous seeds (rape, sunflower).

The cause of the fast and strong root-growth that can be observed due to the BactoFil treatment can be found in the natural vegetal hormones that are bio-synthetized by the soil-bacteria found in the substance. Among them the most important tone is the indol-3-acetic acid considered as the etalon of the auxin hormone group and the zeatin belonging to the group of citokinins. Regarding the zeatin the situation is that this plant-hormone is not produced by the bacterium but it is produced when the plant remnants that got into the soil – mostly corn – get decomposed aided by bacteria. This is the cause of the situation when the best-growing ear-cereal and sunflower can be found in the seed-bed prepared after the corn stubble-field treated with BactoFil Cell. The mentioned two hormones gets into the roots from the wet soil along with the water and as a result the roots develop faster.

The effect of the bigger root-system reaching deeper is as follows:

The roots growing due to the BactoFil treatment are able to carry more nutrients and water to the parts of the plant being at surface level, in this way it can develop better and provides more crop.

When the upper layer of the soil is drying out the deep roots is still getting humidity from the deep layers even during the dry period therefore the risk of draught is decreasing and the crop security is increasing. The bigger root-mass is decreasing the damage caused by the soil-dwelling pests, since despite one or two chewed roots the plant’s supply does not suffer significant loss and its stability is not endangered.

In summary the root system that is healthier and developing faster is the basic element of the proper plant growth, resistance capacity and crop security. The use of the BactoFil products helps the farmers in corresponding to the challenges of the sustainable-economical agricultural growing.
